Adolescent Day Treatment Program (ADT) - GBHC
Description
ADT treats and educates youth with severe emotional and/or psychiatric illness.  Broome/Tioga BOCES provides the educational component.  Program designed to meet the needs of adolescents who have difficulty with expectations of regular school programs due to their psychiatric and/or emotional problems.  Treatment includes individual, group, and family therapy, as well as medication prescription and monitoring when needed; social/recreational programming provided as well as teen vocational program and parent support group.  ADT is a 12-month therapeutic program.

Serves: NY - Broome County; NY - Chenango County; NY - Delaware County; NY - Otsego County; NY - Tioga County;
Eligibility: Youth (13-18th birthday)

Payment Options: Medicaid/Insurance.
Intake Process: Home School District CSE approval is needed.
